Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Design Technology lessons to a range of abilities at GCSE and A Level.
• Support students in developing practical and theoretical knowledge through a variety of specialist pathways.
• Work collaboratively with an experienced team of teachers and technicians.
• Provide effective feedback and assessment to ensure student progress and achievement.
• Contribute to the development of departmental resources and curriculum.
• Participate in staff development and training opportunities.
• Maintain a safe and inspiring learning environment for students.
• Engage with parents and the wider school community.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Design Technology.
• Ability to teach across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
• Commitment to student well-being and inclusive education.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.

Preferred

• Experience in teaching Textiles or a related Design Technology discipline.
• Experience with new teachers or mentorship roles.
• Familiarity with industry-standard design and technology practices.
• Passion for inspiring and engaging students in practical learning.
