The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of science lessons and experiments across key stages
- Maintain and manage science equipment, consumables, and laboratory environments
- Assist in the preparation and organisation of practical science activities
- Provide first aid support to students and staff as required
- Collaborate with science teachers to ensure a safe and stimulating learning environment
- Contribute to the development and implementation of science curriculum resources
- Uphold the school’s values of inclusion, diversity, and excellence in all aspects of work
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in science laboratories
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant experience in a science-related role, preferably in an educational setting
- A good working knowledge of science equipment and laboratory procedures
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A valid first aid qualification
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred
- Experience working with young people in a school environment
- Knowledge of current science curriculum and teaching approaches
- Experience in developing and delivering practical science activities
- A background in education or a science-related field
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary within Scale 4
- 36 hours per week, 45.05 weeks per year
