The Opportunity:

The Assistant Head of Digital Literacy and Teaching and Learning will lead the development and implementation of digital learning initiatives and support the teaching and learning strategy across the secondary school. This role is ideal for an experienced professional looking to make a meaningful impact on student outcomes and staff development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the curriculum and ensure it is inspiring, up to date, and challenging for students.
• Develop and implement digital literacy programmes, including coding, robotics, and entrepreneurship.
• Lead training sessions for staff to enhance digital learning and teaching practices.
• Coordinate Continuous Professional Development (CPD) initiatives across the secondary school.
• Liaise with primary and other campuses to develop whole-school digital learning strategies.
• Ensure curriculum information is regularly shared with parents and the wider community.
• Champion and implement the school’s pedagogy system and lead teacher development.
• Support new staff through induction and ongoing training in teaching and learning practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Recognised teaching qualification and at least 5 years of teaching experience.
• Experience in digital literacy and teaching and learning leadership.
• Strong organisational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred

• Experience with AI in education and digital tools in the classroom.
• Background in international curriculum schools.
• Experience in curriculum development and teacher training.
