Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the implementation of effective pastoral systems and behaviour management strategies.
  • Ensure the school’s vision and values are consistently communicated and reinforced across the school community.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to improve student attendance with measurable outcomes.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of disciplinary processes and reporting systems.
  • Support the continuous improvement of staff and student behaviour, ensuring a positive learning environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven leadership experience in a school setting, with a focus on behaviour and attendance.
  • Strong understanding of pastoral care and student welfare.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage and develop teams effectively.
  • Experience in strategic planning and implementation.

Preferred

  • Experience working within a multi-academy trust or similar educational setting.
  • Knowledge of inclusive education practices and policies.
