Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Co-Headteachers in leading and managing the school
  • Support the implementation of the School Improvement Plan
  • Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making processes
  • Promote high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment practices
  • Embed strategies to improve standards of learning and student outcomes
  • Articulate clear values and vision for students, staff, and the wider community
  • Ensure equal opportunities and excellence for all learners
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to achieve the school’s strategic objectives

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within education
  • Strong understanding of school improvement and curriculum development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection
  • Ability to manage and develop staff effectively
  • Experience in working within a multi-academy trust environment

Preferred

  • Experience in leading school improvement initiatives
  • Background in teaching and curriculum design
  • Knowledge of educational policies and strategic planning
  • Experience with data analysis and performance monitoring
  • Leadership experience in large secondary schools
