The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

• Support individual and small group students under the direction of class teachers
• Provide effective learning assistance to help students achieve their goals
• Communicate regularly with teachers and parents to ensure student progress
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and interventions
• Collaborate with other support staff to create a cohesive learning environment
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development
• Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience working with students with special educational needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational and time management abilities
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Preferred

• Previous experience in a school or educational setting
• Experience with inclusive teaching strategies
• Knowledge of assistive technology or learning support tools
• Experience with curriculum planning and delivery

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive salary of £22,960.00 per annum
