The Opportunity:

As a SENCO Teacher, you will lead and develop the SEND provision across the campus, ensuring students with learning needs receive the support they need to make rapid progress. This role is pivotal in driving inclusive education and student achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead the SEND provision across the campus.
• Develop and implement effective strategies to support students with learning needs.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and external agencies to ensure holistic support for students.
• Monitor and evaluate the progress of students with learning needs.
• Provide professional development and guidance to staff on inclusive teaching practices.
• Ensure all policies and procedures related to safeguarding and child protection are followed.
• Work closely with the existing SENCO to maintain and improve the quality of SEND provision.
• Support the school’s mission of personalized learning and student success.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified SENCO with relevant teaching experience.
• Experience in managing and leading SEND provision in a school setting.
• Strong knowledge of inclusive education and student support strategies.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection policies.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred

• Experience in alternative provision or similar educational settings.
• Familiarity with the Beacon Multi Academy Trust and its values.
• Experience with curriculum innovation and student-driven learning approaches.
• Knowledge of personalized learning and progression pathways for students.
