The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated Receptionist Administrator to join a vibrant and fast-paced school environment. This role is central to the school’s daily operations and requires excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills. The ideal candidate will provide a welcoming and professional service to pupils, parents, and staff, while managing a variety of administrative tasks with efficiency and care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a warm and professional reception service to all visitors, pupils, parents, and staff.
- Manage incoming calls and correspondence with a high standard of customer care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation.
- Support the school’s administrative functions, including scheduling and coordinating meetings.
- Assist with general office management and ensure a smooth running of the school office.
- Handle a variety of tasks independently and under pressure, with the ability to multi-task.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless communication and support across the school.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures at all times.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in a high-skilled, fast-paced administrative or reception role.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong IT skills, including the use of office software and school management systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in providing customer service to a range of stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Preferred
- Experience in an educational setting, particularly within a school environment.
- Familiarity with school operations and administrative procedures.
- Previous experience with managing a busy reception desk.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies.
Compensation & Benefits:
