Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the development and implementation of a high-quality, knowledge-rich curriculum.
- Provide pastoral leadership, building systems and structures that promote a positive and inclusive school culture.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure consistent delivery of the school’s vision and mission.
- Monitor and evaluate pupil progress, ensuring outstanding outcomes for all students.
- Support staff development and professional growth through training and mentorship.
- Work closely with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the school, aligning with the institution’s strategic goals.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all students and staff.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in a leadership role within education, preferably as an Assistant Principal or equivalent.
- Demonstrated success in curriculum development and delivery.
- Strong pastoral leadership experience and a commitment to inclusive school culture.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and lead teams effectively.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
Preferred
- Experience in a school rated Outstanding by Ofsted.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Experience with school improvement and strategic planning.
- Familiarity with modern educational technologies and teaching practices.
- Experience in working within a multi-academy trust or similar organisation.
