Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the development and implementation of a high-quality, knowledge-rich curriculum.
  • Provide pastoral leadership, building systems and structures that promote a positive and inclusive school culture.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure consistent delivery of the school’s vision and mission.
  • Monitor and evaluate pupil progress, ensuring outstanding outcomes for all students.
  • Support staff development and professional growth through training and mentorship.
  • Work closely with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the school, aligning with the institution’s strategic goals.
  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all students and staff.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within education, preferably as an Assistant Principal or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated success in curriculum development and delivery.
  • Strong pastoral leadership experience and a commitment to inclusive school culture.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage and lead teams effectively.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school rated Outstanding by Ofsted.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Experience with school improvement and strategic planning.
  • Familiarity with modern educational technologies and teaching practices.
  • Experience in working within a multi-academy trust or similar organisation.
