Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the development of inclusive practices across the school.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to ensure the school's values and mission are embedded in all aspects of school life.
  • Manage and develop staff, providing guidance and support to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
  • Oversee the implementation of the school's leadership programme, ensuring it aligns with educational goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of inclusion strategies and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with external partners and stakeholders to support the school's inclusion and leadership objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and school policies.
  • Support the professional development of staff through training and mentoring opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Experience of managing a high-achieving faculty.
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering outstanding attainment and achievement.
  • Strong commitment to the STAR values.
  • Proven leadership experience in an educational setting.

Preferred

  • Experience in inclusion and special educational needs.
  • Experience with leadership development programmes.
  • Experience in working within a multi-academy trust or similar structure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
