The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Staff member to help maintain the high standards of cleanliness and order across the school. This role is essential in supporting the smooth operation of a school that is committed to providing an outstanding education and a safe, welcoming environment for all.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain all school areas to the required standards.
• Ensure that all classrooms, corridors, and common areas are tidy and hygienic.
• Assist with the safe and proper disposal of waste in accordance with school policies.
• Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the Site Supervisor immediately.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Support the school in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for students and staff.
• Work flexibly to meet the needs of the school, including during events or after school hours.
• Adhere to all safeguarding and child protection policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience in cleaning or similar roles.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good standard of personal hygiene and appearance.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.

Preferred

• Previous experience in a school or educational setting.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
