Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in their academic and personal development through effective teaching and pastoral care.
  • Contribute to the school’s pastoral team and help foster a positive, inclusive environment for all students.
  • Assist students in reflecting on their behaviour and aligning it with the school’s expected standards.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the school and multi-academy trust to deliver a high-quality education.
  • Participate in a bespoke CPD package tailored to your career stage and development needs.
  • Engage in professional development and training opportunities to enhance your teaching practice.
  • Contribute to the school’s vision of empowering students through virtues and academic excellence.
  • Support the delivery of a broad and ambitious curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A relevant teaching qualification or the ability to train to teach.
  • Commitment to upholding high standards of behaviour, professionalism, and conduct.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work proactively with students and colleagues.
  • A belief in the potential of all students to achieve highly.
  • Experience working with young people and a passion for education.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school with a multi-faith or virtues-led ethos.
  • Previous experience in pastoral support or student welfare.
  • Experience with Continuous Professional Development (CPD) or leadership training.
  • Familiarity with the National Curriculum or equivalent.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
