As an Attendance Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining the school’s outstanding attendance record and ensuring that all students are supported to achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor student attendance data to ensure high levels of attendance are maintained.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve attendance across all year groups.
- Work closely with staff, parents, and students to address attendance issues and provide support where needed.
- Analyze attendance trends and report findings to senior leadership.
- Coordinate with pastoral teams to ensure a whole-school approach to attendance management.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on attendance policies and procedures.
- Support students with attendance-related challenges, including those with special educational needs.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with legal and school attendance requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in attendance management within an educational setting.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience working with students, parents, and staff in a school environment.
- Understanding of attendance policies and legal requirements.
Preferred
- Experience in a Catholic school or similar environment.
- Knowledge of student welfare and support strategies.
- Experience with data management systems and software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in developing and delivering training sessions.
