As an Attendance Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining the school’s outstanding attendance record and ensuring that all students are supported to achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor student attendance data to ensure high levels of attendance are maintained.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve attendance across all year groups.
  • Work closely with staff, parents, and students to address attendance issues and provide support where needed.
  • Analyze attendance trends and report findings to senior leadership.
  • Coordinate with pastoral teams to ensure a whole-school approach to attendance management.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on attendance policies and procedures.
  • Support students with attendance-related challenges, including those with special educational needs.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with legal and school attendance requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in attendance management within an educational setting.
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience working with students, parents, and staff in a school environment.
  • Understanding of attendance policies and legal requirements.

Preferred

  • Experience in a Catholic school or similar environment.
  • Knowledge of student welfare and support strategies.
  • Experience with data management systems and software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in developing and delivering training sessions.
