The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Bank Catering Staff member to assist with food preparation, serving, cleaning, and general duties within our busy catering department. This role is ideal for someone who is flexible, reliable, and passionate about providing excellent service in a welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve food to students in a timely and efficient manner
• Assist with clearing tables, washing up, and general cleaning duties
• Maintain a clean and hygienic working environment at all times
• Support the catering team during peak times and staff absences
• Follow all health and safety guidelines and procedures
• Communicate effectively with students and colleagues
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of catering areas as required
• Adhere to the school’s policies and procedures at all times

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Basic experience in the food industry or willingness to learn
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to providing excellent service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Reliability and punctuality

Preferred

• Previous experience in a catering or hospitality role
• Experience working with children in an educational setting
• Flexibility to work on short notice and during school term times
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a food service environment
