The Opportunity:
The IT Services Technician role offers an opportunity to provide essential technical support to students and staff across a dynamic and progressive educational environment. This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth IT operations and excellent user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line IT support to students and staff via in-person, phone, and helpdesk channels.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network services.
- Maintain accurate records of all support cases and ensure timely follow-up.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement and support new systems and technologies.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures across the school.
- Offer guidance and training to users on IT tools and resources.
- Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of the school's IT infrastructure.
- Support the smooth running of school events and operations through reliable IT services.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in IT support or a related field.
- Strong technical knowledge of hardware, software, and network systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in a school or educational setting is preferred but not essential.
Preferred
- Familiarity with helpdesk systems and ticketing software.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
- Understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
- Experience with remote support tools and technologies.
