The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Bilingual Librarian to join our team and manage the development of the elementary school library. This role is central to creating a vibrant learning environment that supports students and aligns with the school's mission of academic excellence and cultural integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the development and operations of the elementary school library.
• Curate and maintain a diverse collection of bilingual resources to support student learning.
• Collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources into the curriculum.
• Promote reading and literacy through engaging programs and events.
• Provide guidance and support to students, parents, and staff on library services and resources.
• Ensure the library is a welcoming and inclusive space that reflects the school's values.
• Develop and implement library policies and procedures in line with school standards.
• Support the school’s mission by fostering a culture of learning and community engagement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Recognized qualification in librarianship or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in school library management.
• Experience working in a school environment, preferably with students and families.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a bilingual setting (Arabic and English).
• Commitment to the school’s mission and values.

Preferred

• Experience working with Emirati students and families.
• Familiarity with American curriculum standards.
• Experience in library management within an international school setting.
• Knowledge of educational technologies and digital resources.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement library programs that support student achievement.
