The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in Biology to students across a range of levels.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of AAQ Human Biology and AAQ Applied Science courses.
- Support students in achieving their full potential through personalized guidance and academic support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning practices.
- Participate in departmental meetings, staff training, and professional development opportunities.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all students.
- Engage in extra-curricular activities and enrichment programs.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Biology or a related subject.
- A relevant degree in Biology or a related field.
- Experience in delivering AAQ Human Biology and AAQ Applied Science.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to student success and a passion for teaching.
Preferred
- Experience working in a school with an outstanding Ofsted rating.
- Background in Catholic or faith-based education.
- Experience in developing and delivering Level 3 courses.
- Familiarity with T Levels or BTEC qualifications.
- Experience in pastoral support or student welfare.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary range from £33,465 to £51,714 per annum.
