Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons in Computing and IT.
- Develop and implement a curriculum aligned with national standards and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and excellence in teaching and learning.
- Support student progress through effective assessment and feedback.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and coaching programmes.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and achievement.
- Work closely with stakeholders to enhance student outcomes and experiences.
- Contribute to the development of extra-curricular opportunities in Computing and IT.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Computing or IT.
- Experience in teaching Computing or IT at Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and improvement.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred
- Experience with GCSE Computer Science, BTEC, or A Level Computing qualifications.
- Familiarity with OCR and Cambridge Technicals qualifications.
- Experience in developing and delivering extra-curricular activities in Computing and IT.
- Experience with digital literacy and creative IT topics.
