Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons in Computing and IT.
  • Develop and implement a curriculum aligned with national standards and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and excellence in teaching and learning.
  • Support student progress through effective assessment and feedback.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and coaching programmes.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and achievement.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to enhance student outcomes and experiences.
  • Contribute to the development of extra-curricular opportunities in Computing and IT.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Computing or IT.
  • Experience in teaching Computing or IT at Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and improvement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred

  • Experience with GCSE Computer Science, BTEC, or A Level Computing qualifications.
  • Familiarity with OCR and Cambridge Technicals qualifications.
  • Experience in developing and delivering extra-curricular activities in Computing and IT.
  • Experience with digital literacy and creative IT topics.
