The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Care Support Worker to join a supportive team and provide essential care and guidance to students. This role is vital in ensuring a positive and safe learning environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students in their personal and academic development
• Assist in the delivery of pastoral care and welfare services
• Work closely with teaching staff to ensure student needs are met
• Monitor and report on student wellbeing and progress
• Provide guidance and support in a caring and professional manner
• Participate in staff training and development programs
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Promote a positive and inclusive school culture

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Relevant qualifications in care or education
• Experience working with young people in a care or support role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to the school’s values and ethos
• Ability to work flexibly and manage a demanding workload

Preferred

• Experience in a school or educational setting
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
• Experience in pastoral care or student support
• First aid or similar qualifications
