The Opportunity:
As a Psychology Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting student learning and personal development. You will contribute to a dynamic and inclusive learning environment, helping students reach their full potential in both academic and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging Psychology lessons that inspire and challenge students.
- Contribute to other social science subjects as required, supporting a well-rounded curriculum.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that promote student engagement and achievement.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the school.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records and report student progress to parents and guardians.
- Support the school’s mission and values through active involvement in student welfare and enrichment activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Psychology or a related subject.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
- Willingness to contribute to other social science subjects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching at sixth form or equivalent level.
- Background in Catholic education or similar values-based environment.
- Experience with pastoral support and student welfare.
- Familiarity with A Level or equivalent qualifications in Psychology.
