The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging Psychology lessons that inspire and challenge students.
  • Contribute to other social science subjects as required, supporting a well-rounded curriculum.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that promote student engagement and achievement.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the school.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records and report student progress to parents and guardians.
  • Support the school’s mission and values through active involvement in student welfare and enrichment activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Psychology or a related subject.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Willingness to contribute to other social science subjects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching at sixth form or equivalent level.
  • Background in Catholic education or similar values-based environment.
  • Experience with pastoral support and student welfare.
  • Familiarity with A Level or equivalent qualifications in Psychology.
