The Opportunity:

As a Biomedical Sciences Tutor, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and supporting student learning on the International Foundation Programme. You will contribute to the development of course materials and assessments, working closely with a dedicated team of educators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions in Biomedical Sciences and Research & Data Skills
• Collaborate with the Science and Engineering Course Team to develop and refine course content and assessments
• Support students in developing research and data skills relevant to biomedical sciences
• Participate in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) initiatives
• Provide constructive feedback to students to enhance their learning outcomes
• Work in line with the Centre’s core principles of development, reflexivity, and collaboration
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the International Foundation Programme

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Proven teaching experience in Biomedical Sciences or Biology at level 3
• Experience in supporting students’ development of research and data skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Commitment to continuous professional development

Preferred

• Experience in teaching within a Higher Education setting
• Familiarity with the International Foundation Programme or similar pre-university courses
• Experience with curriculum design and development
• Knowledge of educational technologies and online teaching tools
