Key Responsibilities:

• Use inquiry-based methods to develop students’ curiosity and independent learning skills.
• Teach conceptual knowledge that connects across subjects and supports deep understanding.
• Design learning experiences that reflect both local and global contexts.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver effective, data-informed lessons.
• Plan for student differences by building self-esteem and scaffolding learning for all.
• Implement ongoing assessment strategies to monitor and enhance student learning.
• Integrate technology to enhance learning and promote digital integrity.
• Support student language development and affirm cultural identity.
• Empower students to understand and advocate for sustainability principles.
• Participate in professional inquiry and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with experience in BTEC Business or related qualifications.
• Strong understanding of inquiry-based learning and conceptual teaching.
• Experience in planning and delivering lessons in both local and global contexts.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and adapt teaching to student needs.
• Experience with formative and summative assessment strategies.
• Familiarity with the IB curriculum and approaches to learning skills.

Preferred

• Experience with technology integration in the classroom.
• Background in language development and support for multilingual learners.
• Experience in sustainability education or related areas.
• Involvement in professional learning communities or action research.
