The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a passionate and inspiring Secondary Social Studies Teacher (Business Specialism) to teach Grades 6–8 Social Studies and Grades 9–12 Business. This role offers the opportunity to shape young minds, develop innovative curricula, and contribute to a vibrant, inclusive community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach General Social Studies (Grades 6–8) and Business (Grades 9–12 – HSD, IBDP, or A Level).
• Design and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that challenge and motivate students.
• Create and implement learning materials aligned with curriculum standards.
• Use data and assessment strategies to monitor student progress and improve outcomes.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Maintain strong communication with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Foster a safe, respectful, and stimulating learning environment.
• Participate in extracurricular and departmental initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant Humanities/Business field.
• Valid teaching certification that meets Qatar MoEHE requirements.
• Experience teaching Business at HSD, IB DP, or A Level.
• Strong knowledge of Social Studies curriculum and pedagogy.
• Effective classroom management and student relationship-building skills.

Preferred

• Experience teaching IB DP Business Management.
• Demonstrated ability to innovate and reflect on teaching practices.
• Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
