The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality BTEC Engineering lessons that inspire and challenge students.
- Develop and implement engaging and innovative teaching strategies.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support the school’s mission and educational standards.
- Participate in staff development and training programs.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of enrichment activities and programs.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
- Support the pastoral care of students where appropriate.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in BTEC Engineering or a related subject.
- Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., QTLS, PGCE, or equivalent).
- Proven ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to the school’s mission and ethos.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching an additional subject.
- Experience working in a school with an outstanding Ofsted rating.
- Familiarity with the latest developments in engineering education.
- Experience with pastoral care and student support.
