Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality BTEC Engineering lessons that inspire and challenge students.
• Develop and implement engaging and innovative teaching strategies.
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support the school’s mission and educational standards.
• Participate in staff development and training programs.
• Contribute to the planning and delivery of enrichment activities and programs.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
• Support the pastoral care of students where appropriate.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with experience in BTEC Engineering or a related subject.
• Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., QTLS, PGCE, or equivalent).
• Proven ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to the school’s mission and ethos.

Preferred

• Experience in teaching an additional subject.
• Experience working in a school with an outstanding Ofsted rating.
• Familiarity with the latest developments in engineering education.
• Experience with pastoral care and student support.
