The Opportunity:

As a Business and Economics Teacher, you will shape the learning experience of students, delivering high-quality instruction and contributing to curriculum development. You will be part of a supportive and innovative faculty committed to student achievement and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Business and Economics to students across key stages.
  • Develop and implement successful teaching and learning strategies to ensure student progress and achievement.
  • Support colleagues as a Key Stage Coordinator, contributing to curriculum design and leadership.
  • Participate in and lead professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the academic and personal development of all students.
  • Engage in extra-curricular activities and contribute to the wider school community.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to drive standards and ensure the best outcomes for students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Business and Economics.
  • Proven experience in delivering high-quality teaching and learning in a school setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve excellent student progress and outcomes.
  • Commitment to student welfare and a passion for teaching and learning.

Preferred

  • Experience in curriculum development or leadership roles within a school.
  • Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
  • Experience in working with students across a range of abilities and backgrounds.
  • Involvement in extra-curricular activities or pastoral care.
