The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and engaging Business and IT Teacher to inspire students and deliver high-quality education. The role offers the opportunity to make a real impact on student progress and achievement, while working within a supportive and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching in Business and IT to students aged 11 to 18.
  • Use effective resources to ensure students make accelerated progress and achieve their full potential.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the school’s vision and values.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Participate in the planning and delivery of curriculum and extracurricular activities.
  • Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
  • Engage in professional development and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Business and IT.
  • Experience in teaching at a secondary level, including ECT teachers.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Experience in a similar school or educational setting.
  • Background in curriculum development or leadership within a department.
  • Experience with teaching English as a Second Language (ESOL) or other related subjects.
