The Opportunity:

As a Maths Teacher, you will inspire and support students across Key Stage 3 and 4, helping them achieve success in GCSEs. You will be part of a collaborative team and have the opportunity to contribute to the wider life of the school through extra-curricular activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Mathematics lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students
  • Support students in achieving strong GCSE results
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies
  • Contribute to the school’s extra-curricular programme
  • Provide pastoral support and guidance to students where appropriate
  • Take on additional responsibilities, such as leading the Lower School Maths department, if applicable
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance
  • Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge
  • Experience teaching Mathematics at Key Stage 3 and 4
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to student welfare and safeguarding
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team

Preferred

  • Experience teaching A Level and Further Mathematics
  • Leadership experience or interest in taking on a departmental role
  • Experience in developing and delivering extra-curricular activities
  • Familiarity with inclusive education practices
