Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in History and Politics across all key stages
• Support students in making outstanding progress and achieving high academic outcomes
• Build strong and positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
• Contribute to the development and delivery of the school’s extra-curricular programme
• Work collaboratively within a supportive and challenging team environment
• Continuously reflect on and improve teaching practice
• Promote a positive and inclusive school culture

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in History and Politics
• Experience in teaching at Key Stages 3 and 4
• Commitment to student progress and pastoral care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Preferred

• Experience in teaching at Key Stage 5
• Previous experience in a grammar school setting
• Involvement in extra-curricular activities
• Experience with safeguarding and promoting student well-being
