The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Business and Economics at A Level.
  • Develop and maintain a challenging and stimulating curriculum aligned with Pearson Edexcel.
  • Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support student progress.
  • Monitor and assess student performance to ensure continuous improvement and achievement.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of teaching strategies.
  • Support students in preparing for university applications and career pathways.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the school to enhance the learning experience.
  • Stay up to date with developments in the subject and incorporate innovative teaching methods.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Business and Economics.
  • Experience teaching A Level Business and Economics, ideally with Pearson Edexcel.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to student success and academic excellence.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school with a strong academic reputation.
  • Familiarity with the UK education system and curriculum requirements.
  • Experience with teaching in a Catholic or values-based school environment.
  • Demonstrable track record of student achievement and progress.
