Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Economics lessons to students across key stages.
- Develop and implement a stimulating and challenging curriculum aligned with national standards.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Support students in preparing for examinations and developing critical thinking skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the department.
- Participate in whole-school initiatives, professional development, and staff training.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.
- Engage in extracurricular activities and school events that support student development.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Economics or Business Studies.
- Strong subject knowledge in Economics and the ability to deliver high-quality lessons.
- Proven ability to manage a classroom effectively and maintain positive student behavior.
- Experience in developing and assessing student progress in line with curriculum requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching at Key Stage 4 and 5.
- Experience with curriculum development and instructional coaching.
- Familiarity with Ofsted standards and best practices in education.
- Commitment to professional development and leadership opportunities.
- Experience in delivering extracurricular activities or enrichment programs.
