Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum and the school’s vision for excellence.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes high standards of behaviour, progress, and achievement.
  • Use effective assessment, feedback, and differentiation to support and challenge students according to their individual needs.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment activities, pastoral support, and professional collaboration.
  • Lead on Personal Development or pastoral responsibilities where appropriate.
  • Support the implementation of the IB curriculum or benefit from the school’s extensive training programme if new to IB teaching.
  • Utilise technology in every lesson to enhance student learning and engagement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A relevant university degree and experience in teaching Business Studies.
  • Commitment to the success of each individual student.
  • Demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional growth and development.
  • Passion for the subject to inspire students and promote a love of learning.

Preferred

  • Experience in delivering the IB curriculum.
  • Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and the use of technology in the classroom.
  • Experience in pastoral support or leadership roles within a school setting.
