The Opportunity:

As a Business Engagement Executive, you will act as a vital link between education and employment. You will help shape and deliver impactful work placements, apprenticeships, and employer engagement opportunities, ensuring students are equipped with the skills and experience needed for successful careers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage high-quality work placements and apprenticeship programmes
• Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, industry bodies, and community organisations
• Support learners in accessing career pathways aligned with their aspirations
• Represent the institution at industry events and employer engagement activities
• Monitor and analyse labour market trends to inform future-focused provision
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless student experiences
• Champion the institution’s values and mission in all external interactions
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding and equality, diversity, and inclusion policies

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience in employer engagement, business development, or sales
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong organisational abilities and proactive mindset
• Commitment to equality, diversity, and safeguarding
• Passion for supporting learners and their career success

Preferred

• Experience in education or further learning sectors
• Knowledge of apprenticeship frameworks and industry standards
• Experience with stakeholder engagement or event management
• Understanding of current labour market trends and employer needs
