Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver high-quality, engaging PE lessons that promote physical development and lifelong healthy habits.
• Develop and implement inclusive teaching strategies to meet the needs of all students across different key stages.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and well-rounded curriculum.
• Promote a positive and inclusive school culture that reflects the values of the institution.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice.
• Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
• Engage with parents and the wider community to support student learning and wellbeing.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Physical Education at key stages 1-5
• Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to teaching
• Commitment to student success and high standards of teaching

Preferred

• Experience with ECT (Early Career Teacher) development
• Proven track record of successful teaching and student achievement
• Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and curriculum design
• Experience with oratory or leadership development programmes
