Engineering Lecturer position available in East London with 36 hours per week.

As an Engineering Lecturer, you will play a key role in helping students achieve their full potential. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality learning materials across a range of modules and levels, including Higher Education. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deliver engaging learning and teaching materials for engineering students.
- Teach across a range of modules and levels, including Higher Education.
- Contribute to the implementation of effective teaching strategies and policies.
- Support the continuous improvement of learning and teaching practices.
- Engage with students and inspire them to achieve high standards of performance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure alignment with institutional goals and industry standards.
- Stay up to date with developments in engineering education and incorporate new practices into teaching.
- Provide pastoral support and guidance to students where appropriate.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in engineering or a related field.
- Experience in teaching BTEC or T Levels at Level 3 with specialisms in electrical/electronics or mechanical manufacturing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and deliver high-quality learning resources.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
Preferred
- Experience in Higher Education teaching.
- Familiarity with industry-standard engineering practices.
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
- Previous involvement in curriculum development or assessment design.
