The Opportunity:
As a Business Manager, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional business support to pupils, teachers, and stakeholders. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a school that values leadership, character development, and educational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee financial, HR, business, and premises operations to ensure smooth running of the school.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including governors and external agencies.
- Implement and monitor ICT administration systems to support efficient business operations.
- Provide high-quality customer service to pupils, staff, and external partners.
- Support the delivery of a leadership programme that inspires social action and character development.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align business operations with the school’s strategic goals.
- Prepare reports and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade 9-4/A*-C.
- Proven experience in management within a public or private sector setting.
- Experience in financial, HR, business, and/or premises operations.
- Strong knowledge of effective ICT administration systems.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write reports for stakeholders.
Preferred
- Experience in education or school administration.
- Background in leadership development or community engagement.
- Familiarity with Star Academies’ values and mission.
