The Opportunity:

A Site Assistant is needed to ensure the school site is safe, secure, and well-maintained. This role supports the smooth running of the academy and contributes to a positive learning environment for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and secure school environment.
  • Assist with the day-to-day operational management of academy buildings and grounds.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
  • Support the Facilities Manager in managing school operations.
  • Monitor and report on site conditions and maintenance needs.
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of school events and facilities.
  • Provide a welcoming and professional service to students, staff, and visitors.
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the school site.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Reliable and committed individual with a strong work ethic.
  • Practical skills and experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Flexibility to work outside of standard hours when required.

Preferred
