The Opportunity:

As a Site Manager Year 7 Centre, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a brand-new facility designed to support Year 7 students. This role is critical in ensuring the centre is well-maintained and provides a positive learning environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safe, secure, and efficient operation of the Year 7 Centre.
  • Maintain a clean, well-kept, and compliant environment in line with health and safety legislation.
  • Support the smooth running of the centre and its grounds on a daily basis.
  • Work closely with the Facilities Manager to ensure all operational requirements are met.
  • Manage and monitor the use of the building by students, staff, and visitors.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to address any maintenance or operational issues.
  • Promote a positive and welcoming atmosphere throughout the site.
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are followed consistently.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in site management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in managing facilities in an educational setting.

Preferred

  • Experience with school operations or educational environments.
  • Knowledge of evidence-informed practice in education.
  • Experience in supporting student transition and well-being.
  • Familiarity with working within a multi-academy trust.
