The Opportunity:
As a Site Manager Year 7 Centre, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a brand-new facility designed to support Year 7 students. This role is critical in ensuring the centre is well-maintained and provides a positive learning environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safe, secure, and efficient operation of the Year 7 Centre.
- Maintain a clean, well-kept, and compliant environment in line with health and safety legislation.
- Support the smooth running of the centre and its grounds on a daily basis.
- Work closely with the Facilities Manager to ensure all operational requirements are met.
- Manage and monitor the use of the building by students, staff, and visitors.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to address any maintenance or operational issues.
- Promote a positive and welcoming atmosphere throughout the site.
- Ensure all policies and procedures are followed consistently.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in site management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in managing facilities in an educational setting.
Preferred
- Experience with school operations or educational environments.
- Knowledge of evidence-informed practice in education.
- Experience in supporting student transition and well-being.
- Familiarity with working within a multi-academy trust.
