Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial administration processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning across the school.
  • Maintain and update management information systems to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the school to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit requirements.
  • Provide expert financial support to the school leadership team.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A degree qualification or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in financial administration within a school or educational setting.
  • Demonstrated experience in a financial role with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to use management information systems and adapt to new systems as needed.
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.

Preferred

  • Experience working within a multi-academy trust or similar educational organisation.
  • Familiarity with Star Academies or similar high-performing school networks.
  • Experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Knowledge of educational sector financial processes and regulations.
