The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resolving day-to-day IT issues across the school
  • Assisting with audio-visual equipment, device setup, and software rollouts
  • Maintaining accurate records within service management and asset systems
  • Providing friendly, clear customer service to staff and students
  • Liaising with external suppliers and partners when required
  • Supporting general IT queries and troubleshooting on-site
  • Performing IT administration tasks, including managing user accounts
  • Assisting with staff onboarding and offboarding, ensuring timely setup/removal of access

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • GCSE Maths and English (A–C / 4–9), or willingness to work towards Functional Skills
  • A willingness to learn, develop, and take on new challenges
  • Experience working as part of a team (through school, work, sport, volunteering, etc.)
  • Good organisation and communication skills

Preferred

  • Interest in IT and technology
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 or Windows-based systems
  • Basic understanding of IT security best practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
