The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and inspiring Business Studies Teacher to join a vibrant and well-resourced department. This role offers the chance to deliver high-quality teaching across a range of courses, including A level Business, BTEC programmes, and T Levels. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping student engagement and learning outcomes in a dynamic educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across a range of Business Studies courses.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching and learning strategies that promote student inquiry and enthusiasm for the subject.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share resources and ideas, supporting departmental development.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning outcomes.
  • Participate in the school’s digital innovation strategy, incorporating technology into teaching and learning.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities and pastoral support.
  • Support students in developing digital literacy and preparing them for future careers.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities and ongoing training to enhance teaching practice.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Business Studies.
  • Strong commitment to active and innovative teaching and learning.
  • Experience in delivering A level and vocational courses.
  • Ability to work across a range of courses and support student progression.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with digital technologies in the classroom.
  • Background in teaching T Levels or BTEC qualifications.
  • Experience with supporting students from diverse and non-traditional backgrounds.
  • Previous involvement in enrichment activities or pastoral support.
