The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and inspiring Business Studies Teacher to join a vibrant and well-resourced department. This role offers the chance to deliver high-quality teaching across a range of courses, including A level Business, BTEC programmes, and T Levels. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping student engagement and learning outcomes in a dynamic educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across a range of Business Studies courses.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching and learning strategies that promote student inquiry and enthusiasm for the subject.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share resources and ideas, supporting departmental development.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning outcomes.
- Participate in the school’s digital innovation strategy, incorporating technology into teaching and learning.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities and pastoral support.
- Support students in developing digital literacy and preparing them for future careers.
- Engage in professional development opportunities and ongoing training to enhance teaching practice.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Business Studies.
- Strong commitment to active and innovative teaching and learning.
- Experience in delivering A level and vocational courses.
- Ability to work across a range of courses and support student progression.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience with digital technologies in the classroom.
- Background in teaching T Levels or BTEC qualifications.
- Experience with supporting students from diverse and non-traditional backgrounds.
- Previous involvement in enrichment activities or pastoral support.
