The Opportunity:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Business Studies Teacher to join a dynamic department and support the Head of Department in delivering high-quality education to students aged 11–18. This role is ideal for both new and experienced teachers looking to make an impact in a supportive and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring Business Studies lessons to students aged 11–18.
- Support the Head of Department in coordinating curriculum development, pedagogy, and student achievement.
- Analyze student progress and implement targeted interventions to improve outcomes.
- Participate in co-curricular activities, including clubs, competitions, and educational visits.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop a broad and balanced curriculum.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and achievement.
- Contribute to the school’s mission of developing Better Students, Better People.
- Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Business Studies.
- Experience teaching Business Studies at Key Stage 3, 4, and 5.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to student achievement and pastoral care.
- Willingness to be involved in co-curricular activities.
Preferred
- Experience with A Level Business Studies.
- Background in developing and delivering a broad and balanced curriculum.
- Experience with pastoral care and student support.
- Involvement in extra-curricular activities such as competitions or educational trips.
- Strong track record in improving student results and engagement.
