The Opportunity:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Business Studies Teacher to join a dynamic department and support the Head of Department in delivering high-quality education to students aged 11–18. This role is ideal for both new and experienced teachers looking to make an impact in a supportive and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring Business Studies lessons to students aged 11–18.
  • Support the Head of Department in coordinating curriculum development, pedagogy, and student achievement.
  • Analyze student progress and implement targeted interventions to improve outcomes.
  • Participate in co-curricular activities, including clubs, competitions, and educational visits.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop a broad and balanced curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and achievement.
  • Contribute to the school’s mission of developing Better Students, Better People.
  • Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Business Studies.
  • Experience teaching Business Studies at Key Stage 3, 4, and 5.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to student achievement and pastoral care.
  • Willingness to be involved in co-curricular activities.

Preferred

  • Experience with A Level Business Studies.
  • Background in developing and delivering a broad and balanced curriculum.
  • Experience with pastoral care and student support.
  • Involvement in extra-curricular activities such as competitions or educational trips.
  • Strong track record in improving student results and engagement.
