The Opportunity:
As a Business Studies Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of students at Key Stage 4 and 5. You will contribute to an ambitious and inclusive curriculum, while also participating in enrichment activities. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Business Studies lessons at Key Stage 4 and 5, ensuring student engagement and academic success.
- Develop and refine the curriculum to reflect current industry practices and educational standards.
- Participate in enrichment activities that enhance student learning and skills.
- Support students in achieving their full potential through personalized guidance and mentorship.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching and learning outcomes.
- Contribute to the leadership of the department, potentially as Head of Business, depending on experience and suitability.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning and development.
- Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching methods and subject knowledge.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Business Studies or a related subject.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
- Experience in delivering effective and inclusive teaching strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and take on leadership responsibilities.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching at both Key Stage 4 and 5.
- Leadership experience or the potential to take on a leadership role within the department.
- Familiarity with current trends and developments in Business Studies education.
- Experience with enrichment and extracurricular activities.
