The Opportunity:

As a Minibus Driver, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient transport of students across multiple sites. This is a term-time position requiring flexibility and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a focus on maintaining a positive and safe atmosphere on the bus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive school minibuses in accordance with safety and operational standards
• Conduct routine safety checks before and after each journey
• Interact professionally and courteously with students, parents, and colleagues
• Ensure punctuality and adherence to the school’s transport schedule
• Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all passengers
• Assist with the loading and unloading of students as required
• Report any vehicle or safety-related issues to the Finance Manager
• Support the school during school trips and other events as needed

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Full and clean driving licence
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience of driving passenger vehicles (minibus D1 provision is desirable)
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare

Preferred

• First aid training
• Midas training
• Experience working with children
• Flexibility to work early and afternoon shifts
