The Opportunity:

As an Exam Invigilator, you will ensure the smooth and fair conduct of examinations, supporting students during a critical time in their academic journey. This role is essential in maintaining the integrity of the examination process and providing a positive experience for all candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage exam venues in accordance with strict guidelines.
  • Assist students before the start of exams and address any queries they may have.
  • Supervise both internal and public examinations with professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Attend daily briefings and follow instructions from the Head of Exams.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of examination materials before, during, and after each session.
  • Report any incidents or concerns promptly and accurately.
  • Participate in training sessions and stay up to date with invigilation policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Ability to maintain a calm and focused presence in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to fairness and integrity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to undergo full training at the start of the role.
  • Ability to work flexible hours during the examination period.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in an invigilation or similar role.
  • Experience working with young people or in an educational setting.
  • Familiarity with examination procedures and protocols.
