The Opportunity:
As a Business Support Assistant, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the school. This role is vital in helping to create an outstanding learning environment for students and supporting the wider school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality administrative and business support to teachers, pupils, and stakeholders.
- Manage and maintain accurate records using MS Office and other relevant software.
- Prioritise tasks efficiently and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships across the school and wider community.
- Support the delivery of the school’s leadership programme and other initiatives.
- Assist in the organisation of school events and communications.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of school operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade 9-4/A*-C.
- Experience working in an administrative setting.
- Proficient in using MS Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook) and databases.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
Preferred
- Experience in a school or educational setting.
- Knowledge of educational leadership programmes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with customer service in a professional environment.
