The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a passionate and dedicated Business Teacher to join a thriving department offering a wide range of courses at both Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality lessons in Business and Economics courses, including GCSE, A Level, and Cambridge Technical qualifications.
• Support students through personalized learning and targeted interventions to improve outcomes and achievement.
• Contribute to the development of departmental resources, assessments, and schemes of work.
• Engage students in extracurricular activities, such as trips, guest lectures, and conferences.
• Provide pastoral support and mentorship to students to ensure their academic and personal growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a strong department culture and share best practices.
• Monitor and assess student progress effectively, providing clear feedback and support.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and development opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Business and Economics.
• Experience teaching at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 levels.
• Strong understanding of AQA and OCR qualifications.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Commitment to student success and a passion for teaching.

Preferred

• Experience with extracurricular activities and student leadership programs.
• Familiarity with using digital tools and resources in teaching.
• Experience in mentoring or supporting early career teachers.
• Ability to contribute to departmental initiatives and events.
