The Opportunity:

As a Specialist Resource Provision Teacher, you will lead the development and delivery of a brand-new Specialist Resource Provision, designed to support students with High COIN needs. This role offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of students through highly personalised teaching, collaboration with professionals, and innovative educational approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach a highly personalised curriculum, including literacy and numeracy, tailored to the needs of students with High COIN needs
  • Develop and implement a hybrid model that supports learning both within the SRP and alongside mainstream peers
  • Foster a nurturing environment that promotes regulation, engagement, and academic progress
  • Work collaboratively with school staff, families, and external professionals to support student outcomes
  • Provide targeted teaching, intervention, and support to students with High COIN needs
  • Ensure the provision meets the needs of students with complex, overlapping, and communication/interaction needs
  • Promote a culture of high expectations, structure, and support
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the Specialist Resource Provision

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in special educational needs
  • Experience working with students with High COIN needs, including communication and interaction difficulties
  • Strong knowledge of personalised curriculum development and delivery
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a range of professionals and school staff
  • Experience in developing and implementing hybrid teaching models
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Preferred

  • Experience in mainstream and specialist provision settings
  • Knowledge of social, emotional, and mental health support strategies
  • Experience in leadership or mentoring roles within education
  • Familiarity with Education and Health Care Plans
