The Opportunity:

A Teacher of Maths is needed to join a successful and enthusiastic maths department. This role offers the opportunity to work in a well-resourced environment and to make a meaningful impact on student learning and achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality maths lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  • Set and monitor student progress through regular assessments and targeted interventions.
  • Use a wide range of digital and print resources including SparxMaths, White Rose, and DrFrostMaths.
  • Prepare students for AQA GCSE and Edexcel A Level exams with tailored support and revision sessions.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities such as maths challenges and master classes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and improve student outcomes.
  • Support students in setting and achieving personal and academic targets.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through staff events and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in maths education.
  • Ability to teach across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Experience with GCSE and A Level maths curricula.
  • Familiarity with digital teaching tools and resources.

Preferred

  • Experience with maths intervention and support strategies.
  • Background in teaching AQA and Edexcel qualifications.
  • Involvement in extracurricular maths activities.
  • Experience with teacher training or leadership roles.
