Key Responsibilities:

• Teach the Edexcel GCSE and AQA A Level Business courses, as well as CTEC Business and Edexcel Economics B.
• Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that support student achievement and progression.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and success.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
• Support students in preparing for assessments and examinations.
• Participate in the school’s professional development and induction programmes.
• Contribute to the wider school community through pastoral care and extra-curricular activities.
• Maintain accurate records and report student progress regularly.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with experience in teaching Business at GCSE and A Level.
• 2–3 years of teaching experience, or newly qualified with a strong commitment to student development.
• Ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons that support student learning and achievement.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to the school’s values and mission.

Preferred

• Experience teaching Economics.
• Familiarity with CTEC Business qualifications.
• Experience in a Christian school environment.
• Strong leadership and team-working abilities.
