The Opportunity:

As a Maths Teacher Full-Time, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire students and support their academic growth. You will contribute to the development of Mathematics across all year groups and ability ranges, while also participating in pastoral care, co-curricular activities, and outreach initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging, and inspiring Mathematics lessons to students across all year groups and ability ranges.
  • Foster a passion for Mathematics and encourage independent learning among students.
  • Support the development of Mathematics curriculum and teaching strategies.
  • Participate actively in pastoral care, ensuring the well-being and development of students.
  • Contribute to co-curricular and outreach activities, enhancing the school’s community and educational impact.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support the continuous improvement of teaching and learning.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities and contribute to the school’s innovative teaching initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records and assessments to support student progress and achievement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A relevant graduate qualification and teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
  • Proven experience in teaching Mathematics at a secondary level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to pastoral care and student well-being.
  • Ability to deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that challenge and motivate students.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum.
  • Experience with co-curricular and outreach activities.
  • Experience in professional development and leadership within education.
  • Experience in a high-performing, academically focused school environment.
